DL-103/103AF One touch leveling, Sure, safe & simple The first builders digital levels the DL-103 series is the latest in the line of Topcon digital levels, positioned to cause a revolution in the use of electronic levels for construction site leveling tasks. The DL-103 series is specifically designed to be easy to operate and quick and accurate in taking staff readings for all construction site leveling tasks normally carried out using optical leveling instruments. NEW: Auto Focus (DL-103AF) The recently introduced DL-103AF is the first digital level on the market with built-in auto focus. Leveling cannot get any easier: just sight the staff and press the button! The measured value is displayed in only 2 seconds! (Conventional manual focus is selectable) Height difference mode The Difference of height between a reference point and all point measured after can be calculated and displayed on site. No staff reading errors The DL-103 series uses advanced Topcon digital imaging technology to read a specially patterned staff. This eliminates the need for visual interpretation of the staff reading and therefore removes a major source of error in construction sight leveling work. DL-103 series provides reliability and consistency in staff readings. Robust and water protected (Environment Resistance) The DL-103 series is of a robust construction which is designed to resist almost any conceivable situation in field, such as vibration, shade, rain condition etc. It has a functional design and is protected against water penetration so that it can be used safely and reliably on a construction site even in wet conditions. Water protection class is to the international standard IPX6 (DL-103) and IPX4 (DL-103AF), which is better than many optical levels that are available on the market. Long battery life DL-103 series uses four AA size batteries and has a low power consumption that allows 20 hours continuous operation. The remaining power level is indicated in the display so there is always a warning about a low power. Battery life is preserved by the Auto Cut Off function that turns the instrument off if not used for 30 minutes. RS-232C Data-Output RS-232C Port allows data-communication with Data Collector or PC. Leveling staff Topcon offers a full range of low cost leveling staff with the special Topcon bar pattern for use with the DL-103 series. Staff of a variety of materials, aluminium, wood, fiberglass and a variety of lengths, 3m, 4m or 5m are available. Operating functions:Height difference calculation
