New Auto Tracking Total Station, GTS-820A Series
Topcon Europe is pleased to announce the release of the TOPCON GTS-820A Series of Auto Tracking Total Stations. The new series replaces the GTS-810A series and has improved prism tracking capabilities with faster rotation speed and longer tracking range.The series consists of 4 models, GTS-821A, GTS-822A, GTS-823A, GTS-825A with accuracies of 1”, 2”,3” and 5” respectively. All models have 1 side display, except GTS-821A which has 2 side display. The GTS-820A series can be upgraded to a solo surveying system using the unique remote control device Topcon RC-2II. The system provides the fastest relocation after loss of tracking lock aswell as remote control of the instrument and wireless data transfer from the GTS-820A to the prism position. All this without the use of slow and interference prone radio communication. The GTS-820A series uses a Class 1 laser for prism tracking and a Class 2 laser for data communication using TOPCON RC-2II. The Solo System is completed by adding Topcon data controller FC-1000 or the new FC-100 loaded with Topcon’s own TopSURV Field computer software.
